Albert got up at 6:30 a.m. and had coffee, cereal and fruit. After reading the morning paper he went for a walk. He walked past Mr. Brown's red barn, and saw Mr. Brown outside in front of his house watering his flowers.

"Good morning, Albert!" said Mr. Brown.
"Oh. Good morning, Mr. Brown. How are you today?"
"Just fine. It's going to be a beautiful day."
"I think so," replied Albert.

Albert stopped to admire Mr. Brown's flower garden.

"Quite a garden you have this year."
"Yes. Well, we've had perfect weather for it this year."
"Yea. So far. Knock on wood."
"Cross your fingers!", answered Mr. Brown with a chuckle.
"I'm heading down the road. Have a nice day, Mr. Brown."
"You too Albert. Stop back later for some lemonade if you feel like it."
"Thanks. I just might. Talk to you later."
"Have a nice day."
